Jessica Sectzer and Larry Rubin were married June 1 at Pier Wisconsin in Milwaukee. Rabbi Marc Berkson officiated.
The bride is the daughter of Helen and Jose Sectzer of Mequon. Jessica graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a bachelor’s degree in journalism in 2000 and received a master’s degree in counseling/psychology in 2004 from Adler School of Professional Psychology. She is employed by the Veterans Administration Medical Center in North Chicago.
The groom’s parents are Irene and Steve Rubin of Framingham, Mass. Larry graduated from Washington University with a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering in 1994 and received a Master of Business Administration degree in 2000 from Northwestern University Kellogg Graduate School of Management. He works for Florist Transworld Delivery, Downers Grove, Ill.
The matrons of honor were Danielle Sectzer Wagner and Lisa Sectzer Kendall, both of Chicago. The bridesmaids were Stacey Greenfield and Maura Spiegel of Chicago, and Renata Caine of San Francisco.
The best man was Steve Katz of Chicago. The groomsmen were Steve Kenzer of Chicago; Dan Jacob and Rich Vetstein of Sudbury, Mass.; and Peter Stein of Needham, Mass.
After a wedding trip to Utah, they reside in Chicago.
