A daughter, Sophie Leila, was born May 7 to Jennifer Karlin and Stuart Beispiel of Mequon. She is their first child.
The maternal grandparents are Charlene and Henry Karlin of Milwaukee. Shari Beispiel of Glendale and Howard Beispiel of Brookfield are the paternal grandparents.
The baby is named in memory of her maternal great-grandmother, Sara Lipschultz, and her paternal great-grandmother, Libby Hyman.
