Sylvia Rosen

Sylvia Toni Rosen (nee Levine) of Milwaukee died on July 11. She was 91.

Born in Peekskill, N.Y., Rosen moved to Milwaukee as a child. She graduated from North Division High School, and was a member of Congregation Anshe Sfard’s Sisterhood and B’nai B’rith.

Rosen enjoyed knitting, ceramic art, gardening and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Albert Rosen, in 1998. Rosen is survived by sons Jerold Rosen and Jeffrey (Linda) Rosen, both of Milwaukee; and three grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements were handled by Blane Goodman Funeral Service, LLC. Graveside services were officiated by Rabbi Shlomo Pontos in Anshai Lebowitz Cemetery on July 13.
