Racine native Bertha Arne (nee Levin), of Milwaukee, died on June 16 of natural causes. She was 97.
She was preceded in death by husband Phillip Arne in 1972 and daughter Annette Pachefsky in 1986. She is survived by two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Rabbi Gil-Ezer Lerer officiated at graveside services held at Racine Jewish Cemetery on June 17.
