Gerald Kurzer

Milwaukee native Gerald M. Kurzer died on June 24 after a long illness. He was 74.

A graduate of Washington High School and the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Kurzer worked as an independent certified public accountant for many years in Milwaukee. His hobbies included sports, movies and puzzles.

Kurzer was preceded in death, in 2005, by his wife of 43 years Joy Kurzer (nee Bahcall). A son, Ross Kurzer, also preceded him in death. He is survived by daughters Robin Kurzer of Chicago, and Nancy Kline of Stroudsburg, Pa.; and three grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements were handled by Goodman-Bensman Whitefish Bay Funeral Home. Graveside services were officiated by Rabbi Melech Lensky at Anshai Lebowitz Cemetery on June 26.
