Jared Mazin will celebrate becoming a bar mitzvah on June 7 at Congregation Shalom. He is a son of Karen and Barry Mazin of Milwaukee, and brother to Adam, 11 and Jessica, 6.
The maternal grandparents are Esther and Larry Lauwasser of Mequon. Ruth Mazin of Sarasota, Fla., and Donald Mazin of Larchmont, N.Y., are the paternal grandparents.
Beatrice Hyman of Sarasota, Fla., is the paternal great-grandmother.
Jared is a student at Bayside Middle School.
