S. Jack Glicksman

Lifelong Milwaukeean S. Jack Glicksman of Glendale died Nov. 1 at the age of 83.

He graduated from Washington High School in 1936 and was a radio operator in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

A well-known businessman, he owned and operated Perfection Auto Springs & Parts, an automobile spring manufacturer.

He belonged to Beth El Ner Tamid Synagogue, where he enjoyed singing in the choir. In addition to singing, his special interest was woodworking.

He is survived by daughters Jain (Jim) Kodet of Milwaukee and Phyllis (Steve) Bohte of Santa Rosa, Calif., and a grandson. His wife, Eva Glicksman, died earlier this year.

Rabbi Gideon Goldenholz officiated at the funeral on Nov. 4. Burial was in Second Home Cemetery.
