Funeral services were held April 24 for Rosalyn Schwab (originally Schwalb) in Madison. She died April 21 following a brief illness. She was 81.
She was born in Brooklyn, where she lived until 1965 when she moved to Madison. She worked at the Madison Opportunity Center, now Madison Packing and Assembly, for 32 years. Following her retirement in 1999, she became an active participant in the Eldercare Adult Day Center-West.
According to her family, “She was a remarkable person who had a unique ability to appreciate people for who they are. She valued her family, friends and her Jewish heritage above all things.”
She is survived by brother, Ed Schwab of Kenmore, Wash., and sister-in-law Mona Schwab of Bradenton, Fla.
