Regina Lubar-Weiss, nee Brenes, of Milwaukee, died on Dec. 8. She was 92.
Born in Poland, she attended North Division High School in Milwaukee.
Lubar-Weiss was a member of Beth El Ner Tamid Synagogue, where she was active in the sisterhood. She also volunteered with the Jewish Home & Care Center Hand in Hand Women’s Service Auxiliary, Jewish Family Services and NA’AMAT USA-Milwaukee Council.
According to her family, she loved Jewish and classical music.
Husbands Saul Lubar and Jack Weiss preceded her in death. She is survived by daughter Barbara (Donald) Abrams and son Elliot Lubar, both of Milwaukee; four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
Graveside services were held on Dec. 10 at Beth Hamedrosh Hagodel Cemetery. Rabbi Yitzchak Berman officiated.
