Rae Silberg (nee Levin), a resident at the Jewish Home and Care Center, died July 15 of complications of age. She was 94.
Born in Russia, she came in 1912 to Milwaukee, where she attended vocational school. A homemaker, she was a member of B’nai B’rith Women and the Beth El Ner Tamid Synagogue Sisterhood. Her hobbies included cooking and baking.
She is survived by sons Sheldon Silberg and Charles (Adele) Silberg, both of Milwaukee; sister Belle (Jack) Golden; brother Joseph (Muriel) Levin of Laguna Hills, Calif.; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Her husband, Joseph Silberg, died in 1987.
Rabbi Shlomo Pontos officiated at graveside services on July 16 at Second Home Cemetery.
The family would appreciate memorial contributions to the Jewish Home and Care Center or Beth El Ner Tamid Synagogue.
