Pamela Jean Green (nee Yadon), of Delafield, died on Jan. 22 of ovarian cancer. She was 54.
Green was born in Wisconsin Rapids. She received an undergraduate degree in Asian studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a master’s degree in professional counseling from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
A professional counselor at Aurora Milwaukee, she was a member of various organizations for counselors and active with the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition.
She was a member of Congregation Sinai in Fox Point.
“She was the most positive person I ever knew” and “she was loved by all who knew her,” said her husband, Steven Green of Delafield. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, making jewelry, being a mother and grandmother and helping troubled youth.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by sons Chris Ranum of Mount Horeb, Matt Ranum of Saint Louis, Mo., Thomas Ranum and Ben Ranum, both of Delafield; step-daughter Jennifer Keeble of Fond du Lac; and three grandchildren.
Rabbi David Cohen officiated at Green’s conversion to Judaism, her wedding to Steven Green and her funeral, which was held at Sinai on Jan. 25.
The family appreciates memorial contributions to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition.
