Nathan Victor

Former Milwaukeean Nathan Victor died suddenly July 9 in St. Louis Park, Minn. He was 88.

He was born in New York and grew up in Madison. He served in the 413th Army Infantry Division during World War II. After his discharge in 1944, he and his wife settled in Milwaukee. He worked at S. L. London Music Co. for 53 years.

He is survived by his wife, Edythe Victor; son Richard (Randy) Victor of Fox Point; daughter Roberta (Jonathan) Farris of Edina, Minn.; sister Lee (Harold) Werner of Las Vegas; sisters-in-law Nerissa Victor of San Diego and Marge Victor of Madison; and four grandchildren.

Private services were held at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
