Funeral services were held March 22 for Milwaukee native Muriel Stahl who died March 19 of heart disease. She was 82.
A graduate of Wayland Academy in Beaver Dam, she was a member of Hadassah, the Wisconsin Society for Jewish Learning, and Congregation Emanu-El B’ne Jeshurun.
Her sister, Pearl (Nathan) Berkowitz, said she loved children and baseball and had a delightful sense of humor and pleasant disposition.
In addition to her sister, she is survived by nieces Joan (Kal) Eisenberg of Santa Monica, Calif.; and Susan (Cary) Silverstein of Milwaukee; as well as six grandnieces and nephews.
Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery with Rabbi Marc Berkson officiating.
Memorials to Hadassah, the Wisconsin Society for Jewish Learning, or the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
