Mildred Shapiro Eskin, a native of Milwaukee, died on May 1 at the age of 90.
She was a member of Temple Menorah. According to her family, she enjoyed reading, swimming, yoga and her family. In addition, she spent many years volunteering to help underprivileged children, they said.
She was preceded in death by husband Henry Eskin in 1949 and sister Norma Kraft in 1999. She is survived by daughters Deanna and Marlene Eskin of Milwaukee; and sisters Ruth Gordon of Shorewood and Rose Forman of Miami Beach, Fla.
Rabbi Isaac Lerer officiated at funeral services May 4. Burial was in Mound Zion Cemetery.
Memorials to the Wisconsin Humane Society: Mildred Eskin Memorial would be appreciated by the family.
