Lifelong Manitowoc resident Michael Schwartz died March 1 at the age of 58.
He graduated in 1961 from Lincoln High School and in 1966 from the Milwaukee School of Engineering, where he majored in industrial management.
He was president of Wisconsin Aluminum Foundry in Manitowoc and a member of the American Foundry Society. He belonged to Anshe Poale Zedek Synagogue in Manitowoc.
Survivors include his wife, Sandy Schwartz; daughter Traci Schwartz of Manitowoc; sister Carol Schwartz of Milwaukee; and step-daughter Brenda Funaro of St. Petersburg, Fla.
Rabbi Sidney Vineburg officiated at the funeral on March 5. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery in Manitowoc.
The family would appreciate memorials to Anshe Poale Zedek Synagogue, the American Cancer Society or the Manitowoc-Two Rivers YMCA.
