Former Milwaukeean Marvin Schenbaum died June 12 of pulmonary fibrosis in La Jolla, Calif. He was 76.
He graduated from North Division High School and the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where he earned a bachelor of arts degree in journalism. He was vice president of sales at Kendall Mfg. Co. here.
He was an active member of Beth El Ner Tamid Synagogue, serving as president of the synagogue and the Men’s Club. Also, he was president of the Mound Zion Cemetery Association.
In his spare time he enjoyed bowling, playing bridge and spending time with his family.
He is survived by daughters Susan Stein Rad of Los Angeles, Marlene (Earl) Karp of Wynnewood, Pa., and Helane (Jan) Fronek of La Jolla; brother David (Lorraine) Schenbaum of Belmont, Calif.; sister Jeanette (Abe) Weintrob of Milwaukee; and seven grandchildren. His wife, Ethel Schenbaum, died last year.
Rabbi Gideon Goldenholz officiated at the funeral on June 15. Burial was in Mound Zion Cemetery.
