Leah (nee Grotsky) Solochek, of Fox Point died Nov. 20 at the age of 62 of natural causes.
Born and raised in Kenosha, she graduated from Mary Bradford High School there in 1960 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1964.
She worked as a bookkeeper in a family business, then as bank teller at the Fox Point branch of M&I Bank for the last eight years. She belonged to Congregation Shalom.
She especially enjoyed spending time with grandchildren, going to garage sales with friends, reading, and doing crossword puzzles in pen, her family said.
Survivors include son Jeffrey S. (Lyra) Solochek of Tampa, Fla.; daughter Bari (Louis) Lopez of Sun Prairie; sister Bebe Epstein of Houston, Texas; two grandchildren and three step-grandchildren.
Rabbi Gil-Ezer Lerer officiated at funeral services at Racine Jewish Memorial Cemetery on Nov. 22.
