Joseph G. Kahn

Milwaukee native Joseph G. Kahn, of Glendale, died Jan. 10 at the age of 90.
He attended Riverside University High School and Milwaukee State Teacher’s College.
Before retiring, Kahn owned a beauty supply business. He was active in Congregation Beth Israel Men’s Club and the Jewish War Veterans Auxiliary.

Kahn loved to tell jokes and stories, play golf, bowl, play cards and spend time with friends and loved ones, his family said.

He is survived by wife Miriam Kahn, nee Katz; daughter Linda (Dr. Richard) Silberman of Glendale; sons Lawrence (Roberta) Kahn of Fox Point and Dennis (Aimee) Kahn of Bayside; brother Gerald (Rosalie) Kahn of Palm Springs, Calif.; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Jan. 14 at Congregation Beth Israel. Rabbi Herbert Panitch officiated.
