Jerome H. Sadowsky

Milwaukee native Jerome H. Sadowsky of Whitefish Bay died of natural causes Oct. 24. He was 78.

He was a graduate of Riverside High School and Marquette University and had a career in sales.

In his spare time he worked as an auxiliary police officer in Whitefish Bay for more than 20 years, according to his wife Rene Sadowsky (nee Bilansky). After retiring, he sold pet supplies at Seven Mile Fair.

He was a member of Congregation Shalom. “Jerry was a loving and caring husband, father and grandfather. He will be missed,” his wife said.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters Randee (Larry) LaPidus and Julie (Michael) Shlensky, both of Milwaukee; son Michael (Jane) Sadowsky of Vernon; and five grandsons.

Rabbi Shari Shamah officiated at funeral services Oct. 27. Burial was in Second Home Cemetery.

Memorials to Congregation Shalom or the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
