Former Milwaukeean Jane B. Rosen, a resident of Hallandale, Fla., died on Sept. 1. She was 84 years old.
Born in Milwaukee in 1921, she moved to Hallandale in 1970. She and her husband owned and operated a business there, June’s Fashions and Brides.
She was a member of Beth El Ner Tamid Synagogue and was active in the its sisterhood.
She enjoyed hosting friends at her home in Hallandale, and was “a great Florida tour guide,” according to her family. Her family said that her Passover seders were “legendary,” and she enjoyed sharing the experience with visiting friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Rosen, in 1986. She is survived by sons Larry (Sharman) Rosen of Boston and Ron (Fern) Rosen of Miami; daughter Barbara (Richard) Bernstein of Miami; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Sept. 3 in Miami.
The family would appreciate memorial contributions to a charity of the giver’s choice.
