Jacquelyn Weil Kadwit

Milwaukeean Jacquelyn Kadwit, nee Weil, died of cancer on Feb. 2. She was 71.

Born in Milwaukee, Kadwit graduated from Shorewood High School in 1953 and received a degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1957.

Before retiring in 2002, she worked as a realtor with Coldwell Banker and volunteered with the American Diabetes Association.

She was formerly a member of Congregation Emanu-el B’ne Jeshurun. According to her family, she enjoyed cooking, travel, theater, mahjong and tennis.

She was preceded in death by husband Marshall Kadwit and son Howard Kadwit. She is survived by daughter Betsy Kadwit of Minneapolis; daughter-in-law Lori Kadwit of Park City, Utah; and two grandchildren.

Rabbi Dena A. Feingold officiated at graveside services in Sunset Ridge Cemetery on Feb. 7.
