Ida Zilberbrand (nee Ross) died Oct. 6 of complications following hip surgery. She was 93.
A resident of the Helen Bader Center, she was born in Hartford, Wis. Her family moved to Milwaukee when she was a child and she attended the 9th Street School.
A homemaker, she was a member of Congregation Beth Israel and its Sisterhood, Na’amat of the USA and Hadassah.
Survivors include daughters Beverly (Ervin) Colton of Milwaukee and Sandra (Jerry) Medow of Highland Park, Ill.; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Her husband, Eli Zilberbrand, died in 1986.
Services were conducted by Rabbi Paul Kerbel on Oct. 8. Burial was in Second Home Cemetery.
