Sheboygan native Harvey Alan Dubman of Brown Deer died of cancer Dec. 23. He was 62.
A 1963 graduate of Sheboygan’s North High School, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee School of Education in 1975. He was a teacher at the Milwaukee Sign Language School.
According to his family his special interests included “traveling, bicycling and spoiling his grandchildren.”
He is survived by wife Harriet Kohlenberg Dubman; daughters RoseMarie Dubman of Brown Deer and Stacy (Christopher) Turcotte of Brookfield, Ill.; son Christopher (Jennie) Dubman of Jefferson; sister Joan (Richard) Champion of Shorewood; and four grandchildren.
Rabbi Gil-Ezer Lerer officiated at graveside services in the Sheboygan Hebrew Cemetery on Dec. 26.
Memorials to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
