Graveside services were held Dec. 11 for Harold H. Geller of Glendale. He died Dec. 9 at the age of 86.
He graduated from North Division High School in 1934 and received a degree in chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1938. He worked at Pabst Brewing Company for 36 years as technical director.
His accomplishments included registered patents and serving as president of the American Society of Brewing Chemists.
After his retirement in 1982, he and his wife, Rose Geller, spent their winters in Boca Raton, Fla.
He enjoyed gardening, working at the Milwaukee Jewish Day School plant sales, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He belonged to Congregation Beth Israel and attended Tuesday Seniors Men’s Club.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters Maris (Dr. Harvey) Bock of Bayside and Nancy (Will) Heller of Paradise Valley, Ariz.; son Dr. Ron (Lois) Geller of North Potomac, Md.; 12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Rabbi Paul Kerbel conducted services at Second Home Cemetery.
Memorials to the Milwaukee Jewish Day School or Congregation Beth Israel would be appreciated by the family.
