Racine native Gerold (Jerry) C. Shumow of Mequon died Feb. 2 at the age of 76.
He graduated from Washington High School and Marquette University. According to his wife, Bubbles Shumow (nee Rosen), he owned a lift truck company. He had been a member of Congregation Shalom.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters Laurie (Bert) Schweizer of Chesterfield, Mo., and Lynne Shumow of Milwaukee; son Steven Shumow of Mequon; and six grandchildren.
Rabbi Ronald Shapiro officiated at the funeral on Feb. 4. Burial was in Second Home Cemetery.
The family would appreciate memorial contributions to Congregation Shalom.
