Milwaukee native Gary Jay Schuster died Aug. 19 at the age of 44.
He graduated from Nicolet High School in 1976, where he lettered in football; and attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
A member of Congregation Beth Israel, he was a 3rd degree master Mason. He was employed as a consultant. His interests were music, animals and current affairs.
He is survived by his parents, Morris and Marcia Schuster of Glendale; brothers Jeff (Terri) Schuster of Mequon, Alan Schuster of Highland Park, Ill., and Michael (Kelly) Schuster of Milwaukee; and sister Judy Schuster of Chicago.
Rabbi Paul Kerbel officiated at the funeral on Aug. 22. Burial was in Second Home Cemetery.
The family suggested contributions to Congregation Beth Israel or the Wisconsin Humane Society.
