Edwin “Ted” Ostermann

Edwin “Ted” Ostermann died on Dec. 9 of natural causes. He was 76.

Born in Milwaukee, Ostermann graduated from Shorewood High School in 1949 and attended Grinnell College and Pomona College, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1953.

He owned and operated Bed and Bath World in Glendale. He was a member of Congregation Sinai.

Ostermann enjoyed his family, playing duplicate bridge, and cultivating roses, his family said.

He is survived by his wife Nancy (nee Levy); daughters Linda Jorve of St. Paul, Minn., and Ellen Ostermann of Milwaukee; and five grandchildren.

Rabbi David Cohen officiated at funeral services on Dec. 11. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were handled by Goodman-Bensman Whitefish Bay Funeral Home.

The family appreciates donations in his honor to the charity of the donor’s choice.
