Graveside services were held May 11 at Greenwood Cemetery for Edward Sepper of Port Washington, formerly of Fox Point. He died May 7 at the age of 88.
He was born in Milwaukee and graduated from the University of Texas in 1929 with a degree in business administration. He spent most of his professional life as a sales representative for Kroehler, Thomasville and Hooker furniture companies.
He met his future wife, Eileen Sepper (nee Goldman). They were married in Houston more than 65 years ago.
According to their family, “They raised their children with love and a strong sense of values. Despite his onset of Alzheimer’s disease, their commitment to each other never wavered and they spent their latter days together in the same residence facility.”
He was a member of Congregation Emanu-El B’ne Jeshurun, an active member of its Brotherhood and its sexton.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by son Robert (Cathy) Sepper of Port Washington; daughter Ann (Harold) Beidinger of Berlin, Wis.; sisters Jeanette Winstein of Los Angeles and Judith Bronstein of Houston; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
The family suggested memorial contributions to the Alzheimer’s Association of Southeastern Wisconsin.
