Former Milwaukeean Edith Burston (nee Minner) died Sept. 15 in Laguna Hills, Calif., of heart failure. She was 91.
Born in Waupun, Wis., she moved to Milwaukee as a youngster and resided here until 1993 when she moved to California. She lived at Prospect Towers for 30 years.
She was a graduate of Washington High School and majored in music at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She worked at Lou Fritzels, a womens’ wear store, for 25 years.
She was the aunt of Susan and Edward Cohen of Lake Forest, Calif.
