Longtime Milwaukee dentist Dr. Morris Kristal of Glendale died April 24 of kidney failure. He was 87.
Born and raised in Sheboygan, he graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1937 and from Marquette University Dental School in 1941. He practiced in Milwaukee from 1941-68 and in Brown Deer from 1969-83.
A member of Beth El Ner Tamid Synagogue, he belonged to B’nai B’rith, Alpha Omega dental fraternity and the Milwaukee and American dental societies. His special interests included golf, gardening, reading and sports.
He is survived by his wife, Bessie Kristal (nee Rudberg); daughter Susan Wine of New York, and son David Kristal of Columbus, Ohio.
Rabbi Gideon Goldenholz officiated at the funeral on April 26. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.
