Dorothy Alshuler Heilbronner, of Milwaukee, died on Jan. 25 at the age of 103.
Born in Racine, she graduated from Shorewood High School and attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
She was a member of Congregation Emanu-El B’ne Jeshurun and served as president of the Ladies Auxiliary at Mount Sinai Hospital for eight years.
According to her family, she enjoyed bird watching, knitting, sports, the arts and helping those less fortunate than herself.
Husband Herbert E. Heilbronner preceded her in death in 1978. She is survived by son Frank (Barbara) Heilbronner and daughter Margery (Dr. Irvin) Becker, both of Milwaukee; and seven grandchildren.
Rabbi Marc Berkson officiated at a memorial service held on Jan. 28 at Congregation Emanu-El B’ne Jeshurun.
