Funeral services were held Oct. 22 for Dina Beth Salle of Fox Point. The nine-year-old died Oct. 20 of cancer.
She was born in Chicago and moved to Milwaukee with her family six years ago. A fourth grader at Stormonth Elementary School, she loved art, music, ballet, horses and the color pink.
She is survived by her parents, Janet and Alan Salle; twin sister and “best friend” Rachel; and grandparents Joan and Walter March of Kansas City, Mo., and Lee Ann and Jerome Salle of Longboat Key, Fla.
Rabbis David Cohen of Congregation Sinai, Alan Cohen of Kansas City and Lee Buckman, formerly of Congregation Beth Israel, and Cantor David Barash of Congregation Emanu-El B’ne Jeshurun officiated at the service, which was held at Congregation Sinai. Burial was in Mound Zion Cemetery.
