Funeral services were held Sept. 13 for Deborah Lakritz. She died Sept. 12 at the age of 89.
She was born in southern Russia and came to Milwaukee in the 1920s. Following her graduation from West Division High School, she worked in various departments at Boston Store before her marriage to Jeffrey Lakritz.
She was a member of Congregation Beth Jehudah, its Sisterhood and Hadassah.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by son Isaac (Lea) Lakritz of West Bloomfield, Mich., and three grandchildren.
Rabbi Michel Twerski officiated at the service. Burial was in Mound Zion Cemetery.
