Retired attorney Cyril Gross of Shorewood died July 14. He was 89.
Born in Milwaukee, he graduated from Marquette University Law School and practiced here for many years. He served in the U.S. Army in the South Pacific during World War II.
In retirement, he was a recipient of the Kesselman Senior Service Award for outstanding volunteer service to the community. He was program chair for many years for the American Association of Retired Persons.
He belonged to Congregation Emanu-El B’ne Jeshurun.
He is survived by his sister Gloria (Dr. Sidney) Meyers of Mequon.
Rabbi Steve Adams officiated at the funeral. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.
