Former Milwaukeean Charles F. Stein died Dec. 24 in Palm Springs, Calif., of a heart attack. He was 88.
He retired as president of NAPCO Graphic Artist in 1980. During his retirement, he worked as a realtor and volunteered for the International Executive Service Corps.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II as a master sergeant and was a 32nd Degree Mason.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Evelyn Stein (nee Benesch); sons Steve Stein of Milwaukee and Peter Stein of Clabasas, Calif.; daughter Sally Scher of Castle Rock, Calif.; five grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Private services were held in California on Dec. 25.
