Native Milwaukeean Carole E. Lauwasser of Boynton Beach, Fla., died Dec. 11. She was 71.
A 1950 graduate of Washington High School, she attended Milwaukee Teachers College for a year.
She was a co-owner and vice president of Potpourri, Milwaukee, for 10 years.
Her special interests included family, bridge, cooking and enjoying retirement with old and new friends in Florida, her family said.
Survivors include husband Leonard Lauwasser; son Mark (Cindy) Lauwasser of Glendale; daughter Marla (Joseph) Fraunfelder of Whitefish Bay; brothers Howard (Marcia) Gutnick of Virginia Beach, Va., and Robert (Barbara) Rosen of Melbourne, Fla.; and a grandson.
Funeral services were held at Beth Israel Memorial Chapel, Boynton Beach, on Dec.14.
Memorials to the American Heart Association or City of Hope would be appreciated by the family.
