Milwaukee native Boris Sodos died of pancreatic cancer on Feb. 19. He was 78.
Sodos graduated from Washington High School in 1947 and received both his bachelor’s and law degrees from Marquette University.
During his long career as an attorney, he was a member of the Wisconsin Bar Association.
He also served in the 32nd Red Arrow Division of the Wisconsin National Guard.
He is survived by wife Janice Sodos of Sun City, Ariz.; son Saul (Dena) Sodos of Glenview, Ill.; daughter Maureen Sodos of Portland, Ore.; sister Helen (John) Layng of Rockford, Ill.; brothers Erving (Cathleen) Sodos of Oakland, Calif., and Sidney (Shelly) Sodos of Milwaukee; and five grandchildren.
Rabbi Sheldon Moss officiated at funeral services on Feb. 22. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.
