Milwaukee native Beverly Sokol (née Marmorstein) died in San Diego on June 14 after a long illness. She was 74.
Wife of the late Sam Sokol, she is survived by daughter Alissa (Michael) Ralston of San Rafael, Calif.; sons Martin (Cindy) Sokol of Huntsville, Ark., Richard Sokol of Encinitas, Calif., and Steven Sokol of Sacramento; and four grandchildren. “She was devoted to extended family and dear friends,” said family members.
Funeral services took place at Temple Solel in Encinitas. Burial was at Mount Tamalpais Cemetery in San Rafael on June 18.
Donations to Temple Menorah or the charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
