Beth El Ner Tamid Synagogue in Mequon will offer the community a chance to welcome the congregation’s new spiritual leader, Rabbi Yitzchak Evan Berman, at the synagogue’s annual picnic/barbecue.
The event will take place at the synagogue on Sunday, Aug. 13, 3-7 p.m., at the synagogue. Festivities will include a magic show by Magic Ben at 3 p.m.; and a performance by ComedySportz at 6:30 p.m.
Admission is $8 in advance (for ages 11 and up before Aug. 7) or $10 at the door; $5 for children ages 6-10; children 5 and under free. For more information, call the synagogue, 262-242-6900.
