Graveside services were held Oct. 9 for Beatrice F. Gordon (nee Friedberg). She died Oct. 7 at the Jewish Home and Care Center at the age of 93.
A native of Cleveland, she had worked as a secretary there. After her marriage to Meyer Gordon 50 years ago, the couple resided in Manitowoc. They moved to Milwaukee in 1960. She was a member of Beth El Ner Tamid Synagogue and Women’s American ORT.
She is survived by step-son Martin (Frances) Gordon of Atlanta; daughter-in-law Judith (Martin Siegel) Gordon of Milwaukee; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband (1984) and step-son Howard Gordon.
Rabbi Shlomo Pontos officiated at the service at Greenwood Cemetery.
Memorials to the Jewish Home and Care Center would be appreciated by the family.
