Milwaukee native Arthur J. Yaillen of Mequon died July 2. He was 74.
He graduated in 1945 from Washington High School and received a bachelor of science degree in 1949 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
He worked as a microbiologist at Solvay International and was a member of the American Society for Microbiology. He was a member of Beth El Ner Tamid Synagogue, its men’s club and B’nai B’rith.
He is survived by son Eric Yaillen of Everett, Wash.
