Annette F. Edelstein

Shorewood resident Annette F. Edelstein (nee Vogel) died of cancer on Dec. 24. She was 80.

“Annette’s life revolved around her husband, her six devoted children and her ten beautiful grandchildren. She was the treasured centerpiece of the family and will truly be missed,” according to her family.

A graduate of Riverside High School, Edelstein was a homemaker. She had been a member of Congregation Emanu-El B’ne Jeshurun.

She is survived by husband George Edelstein; daughters Judith Edelstein of Santa Monica, Calif., and Joy E. (Paul) Carter of Whitefish Bay; sons Leo (Marsha) Edelstein of Menasha, Lawrence (Luanne) Edelstein of Horicon, Gordon (Jean) Edelstein of Orlando, Fla., and Daniel (Linda) Edelstein of Novato, Calif.; and sister Jane Rosenberg of Kansas City, Kan.

Rabbi Ronald M. Shapiro officiated at funeral services on Dec. 30. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.
