Allan Roger Polacheck

Milwaukee native Allan Roger Polacheck of Glendale died of natural causes Feb. 1. He was 98.

He graduated from Riverside High School in 1925 and the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a law degree in 1930.

He practiced as an attorney for 60 years.

He was a member of Congregation Emanu-El B’ne Jeshurun where he served on the board of directors. He also served on the board of the Milwaukee Jewish Council for Community Relations and on various corporate boards, according to his family. He enjoyed bridge, golf and lawn bowling and was devoted to his family, they said.

Preceded in death by his wife of 73 years, Edna (Eddie), in 2004, he is survived by daughter Joan (Henry “Pat”) Kerns of Mequon, son Jim (Terri) Polacheck of Pittsburgh, five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Rabbi Marc Berkson officiated at graveside services Feb. 3. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery.
