Lifelong Milwaukeean Abraham Plotkin died April 13 at the age of 83.
He served in the U.S. Army’s 128th Infantry Division during World War II. He was a salesman at Peacock Shoes, a women’s salon.
He was a member of Congregation Shalom and an avid sports enthusiast.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Hilda Plotkin (nee Goldstein); sons Jerry (Bonnie) Plotkin and Gary (Laurie) Plotkin, both of Milwaukee, and Steven (Pam) Plotkin of New Orleans; sister Marge Turner of Milwaukee; brother-in-law James Frenkel of Milwaukee; and four grandchildren.
Rabbi Ronald Shapiro conducted services on April 15. Burial was in Beth Hamedrosh Hagodel Cemetery.
