Maccabi USA and Maccabi Media are now accepting applications for their 2026 Maccabi Media Program, a career-development opportunity for Jewish college students and recent graduates pursuing sports media. Selected participants will cover the Maccabiah Games in Israel and attend a pre-departure training camp in Philadelphia from June 25 to July 20, 2026.
Eligible applicants must be at least 18 years old and enrolled in or graduated from a university-level communications program. Roles include play-by-play, sideline reporting, video editing, sports writing, social media, and graphic design. Applicants must submit a short essay, resume, demo reel or portfolio, and references.
The program fee is $5,400 plus a $60 application fee. Additional need-based aid is available. The fee covers travel, lodging, meals, equipment, and apparel. Students must provide their own phone and laptop and commit to virtual trainings starting in early 2026.
