JCC offers ‘The History of Antisemitism Revealed’

The Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center is offering a class titled, “The History of Antisemitism Revealed,” exploring the origins of antisemitism and its progression over hundreds of years.

Classes are hosted by Rabbi Wes Kalmar for adults and seniors and will occur every Wednesday through Feb. 19, excluding Feb. 12. Sessions are located in the Glazer Board Room at the JCC from 6:45-8 p.m. and cost $80 for members and $96 for non-members.

Upcoming classes will cover antisemitism, including anti-Jewish sentiment in the 19th century, Germany and the Middle East, plus American antisemitism.

This course aims to understand the where and what of antisemitism, as well as theories as to why it exists.
