Gender Complexity in Jewish Tradition 

Rabbi Abby Phelps will guide a discussion of gender in Jewish scriptural, rabbinic and contemporary texts. Phelps served four years as rabbi educator for Congregation Sherith Israel in San Francisco, before relocating to Milwaukee. She specializes in teaching about the intersection of Jewish thought and contemporary ethical challenges. A Tapestry: Arts & Ideas at the JCC Program.
