In Pictures: Milwaukee at Lion of Judah Conference

Above: Raisa Koltun, Tanya Arbit, Susan Lubar, Susan Strait, Joan Lubar, Andrea Schneider, Debra Katz, Sara Hermanoff, Idy Goodman, Barbara Glazer and Melissa Taylor from Milwaukee Jewish Federation’s Women’s Philanthropy joined more than 1,200 women philanthropists from 80 communities around the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Guatemala, and Israel at Jewish Federations of North America’s three-day International Lions of Judah Conference in Arizona, where they raised a collective $24.2 million supporting Federations’ mission to build flourishing Jewish communities. 

  


Tanya Arbit, Women’s Philanthropy president, shared her story at the 2022 International Lion of Judah Conference in Phoenix, Arizona, in December. Arbit said she moved to Milwaukee from Ukraine in 1989 and she now gives back to the Jewish community who supported her then.
