Maxine D. Gould 

Maxine D. Gould, Bayside, died April 3, 2022. She was 79.  

Born Aug. 8, 1942, in Milwaukee. Beloved wife of Ralph Gould. Dear mother of Stacie (Jeff) Usem and Alan (Wendy) Gould. Loving grandmother of Josh (Elissa) Usem, Ben Usem, Jonah Gould, and Ethan Gould. 
 
Graveside services were April 6  at Second Home Cemetery, Milwaukee. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to Make-A-Wish or Wisconsin Humane Society are appreciated. Rabbi Steven Adams assisted the rabbi with Blane Goodman Funeral Service.  

Richard Lisberg 

Richard Lisberg died June 29, 2022, at age 91.  

Beloved husband of Yvette Lisberg (nee Rubinstein). Loving father of Rose Marcia, Ilene (Jack) Leff and Shelley Saffrin. Proud grandfather of Charna Miller, Carlie (Aaron) Aizenberg, Daniel, Marissa and Kara Saffrin and great-zaide of Avi and Libby Aizenberg. Graveside service held July 1 at Mound Zion Cemetery, Brookfield. Rabbi Joel Alter officiated. Goodman-Bensman Whitefish Bay Funeral Home assisted the family. Memorial donations to American Cancer Society, Jewish Beginnings-Lubavitch Preschool or Milwaukee Jewish Day School appreciated. 

Gary M. Mendelblatt 

Gary M. Mendelblatt died July 16, 2022, at the age of 71.   

Beloved father of Jordan Mendelblatt and Scott (Lisa) Mendelblatt. Dear brother of Jeribeth Jones. Loving cousin of Howard (Judy) Tolkan, Jim (Sherry) Tolkan, Suzanne Pasch, Barbara (Jim) Hilb and the late Joan (Jerold) Berman.  Further survived by Jane Mendelblatt, other loving relatives and many dear friends. 

Funeral service was held July 21 at Congregation Shalom, Fox Point. Burial was at Mound Zion Cemetery, Brookfield.  Rabbi Ron Shapiro officiated.  Goodman-Bensman Whitefish Bay Funeral Home assisted the family. Memorial contributions made to Congregation Shalom or the charity of your choice appreciated. 

Shirley Raffe 

Shirley Raffe (nee Pollock), Milwaukee, died July 18, 2022, at age 99. 

Preceded in death by beloved husband Martin Raffe. Dear mother of Linda (David) Deskalo, Judith (Joseph) Zaks, and Laura (Charles) Salituro. Loving grandmother of Michal (Marwan Khayat), Yaron (Erin) Deskalo and Avital (Matt Buehler) Deskalo; Joshua (Kathryn) Zaks and Danielle (Ryan) Igielski; Rebecca and Aaron Salituro. Treasured great-grandmother of Maya, Orli, Talia, Zev, Meyer, Nessa, Evabelle, Anna, and Andrew. 
 
Private services were held. Memorials to Congregation Beth Israel Ner Tamid, Keshet, or Milwaukee Jewish Day School. Burial was July 20 at Second Home Cemetery, Milwaukee, with assistance from Hazzan Jeremy Stein and Blane Goodman Funeral Service.  

Debra “Debbie” Silberman 

Debra “Debbie” Silberman died June 29, 2022 at the age of 70.  

Beloved wife of David Silberman. Loving mother of Adam (Shoba) Silberman and Cori (Michael) Sais. Proud grandmother of Mattai, Anjali, Lukah and Alina Silberman and Erev and Zia Sais. Dear sister of Sanford (Cheryl) Stein. Further survived by other relatives and friends.  

Funeral services took place on July 3 at Spring Hill Cemetery and Congregation Shalom. Rabbi Ron Shapiro officiated. Goodman-Bensman Whitefish Bay Funeral Home assisted the family. Memorial contributions to the JCC Milwaukee Fund for the PJ Library appreciated. 

Daniel Wilets 

Daniel Wilets died June 21, 2022, at the age of 81.   

Beloved husband of Diana Wilets (nee Paykel). Cherished father of John (Linda Teweles) Wilets and Mark Wilets. Proud grandfather of Justin Wilets. Dear brother of Nancy (Bruce) Chudacoff. Loving son of the late Jack and Rachel Wilets. Further survived by other loving relatives and dear friends. 

A graveside service was held on June 24 at Mound Zion Cemetery, Brookfield. Rabbi Steve Adams officiated. Goodman-Bensman Whitefish Bay Funeral Home assisted the family. Memorial contributions made to Friendship Circle of Wisconsin or Hadassah appreciated.
