Bader Philanthropies has assisted with $426 million, celebrates its 30th anniversary 

 

Bader Philanthropies has provided more than $426 million to community partners in Milwaukee, rural Wisconsin and abroad as they celebrate their 30th anniversary, which was on Jan. 25. Of this funding, over $248 million has been provided to 940 community partners in Milwaukee. 

Helen Daniels Bader, of blessed memory, whose work inspires Bader Philanthropies’ efforts today.

These milestones include Bader Philanthropies’ efforts to quickly help southeastern Wisconsin organizations provide services in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The foundation has funded 63 local organizations, amounting to almost $2.3 million donated. Bader Philanthropies also partnered with Shalem Healing to administer 1,520 COVID-19 tests during the height of the pandemic. 

In conjunction with their 30th anniversary, the documentary “Helen Daniels Bader: A Life Worth Emulating” was released in January, which features interviews with family, board members and community leaders who share stories of Helen Daniels Bader’s life and legacy.

Bader, president and CEO of Bader Philanthropies. “They are spreading hope and creating concrete opportunities in Harambee, rural Wisconsin and around the world.”
